Trachycarpus fortunei is an extremely popular palm for gardens in the UK due to its hardy nature and can survive in temperatures as low as 15?C! It’s also evergreen, bringing a bit of the tropics to gardens in the UK all year round. Over time, the leaves are shed and the hairy fibrous tunk becomes quite substantial. The foliage is atop this trunk and fans out in an impressive display of palm leaves.
It can achieve heights exceeding 12 meters but is relatively slow growing, reaching this after at least 20 years.

The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions, and bloom, foliage and interest may vary from photo upon delivery, dependant on season.
