Ligustrum ovalifolium ‘Aureum’ is a golden leafed variety of privet, popular as a hedging plant, which has pleasantly oval leaves with a broad, greenish-gold margin. Close examination will show that the variegation varies in its detail from leaf to leaf; the colour is also limier in shade, brighter in sun. In difficult sites its bright foliage is welcome in winter.

Enjoys full sun/partial shade in well-drained soil.

The plant’s growth rate and size will vary depending on planting position & conditions
